Accepting online payments in Uganda : DusuPay
Accepting online payments in Uganda has been a problem for So long that we had to do something about it. The country has I should put it failed to get something that works effortlessly.
Here are some of the queries we heard
1) Most card processors work for Ugandan cards online
2) The payment service doesn't work
3) The payment processor I use accepts only visa cards (yet in the world there are multiple card providers like master card, JCB, American express and even Union pay)
4) I can't withdraw funds as a merchant in Uganda (This is valid for the case of Paypal merchants can't withdraw to Uganda)
This is why we actually put up DusuPay
Our Mission is to streamline how payments are made online. We intend to do so by facilitating how payments are made and funds are transferred to, fro and within Africa
We are currently working in Uganda facilitating payments by Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) Mobile money systems and Point of sale systems like Payday in Uganda to facilitate online payments

Withdrawing Funds off Your DusuPay.com account
This is the most sensitive Topic on all web services out there.
Essentially there are 3 categories of people that can withdraw. The users , agents and merchants can all be able quickly and efficiently to there preferred channel depending on the country you are based.
1) UGANDA
If you are in Uganda, you have 2 options of withdrawal
a) Mobile Money
This works for both MTN Mobile money and Airtel Money. All withdrawals to these telecommunication networks are instant
b) bank withdrawals
These are usually for huge sums of money. Funds can be sent to your bank account after you initiate withdrawals. They usually reflect on your statement in 2-4 days
2) UNITED KINGDOM
a) Funds are withdrawn to your bank account in 1 business day if the withdrawal is initiated before 3.30 pm If not they will reflect on your statement the next day.
3) KENYA

This should works for Safaricom MPESA by the end of October. All withdrawals to this telecommunication network are instant
